This 7-month position will involve performing various laboratory tasks, including grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, and cover-slipping of tissue specimens.
Responsibilities
• Utilize specialized techniques and equipment to process specimens while maintaining integrity and meeting laboratory standards.
• Prepare special stains as requested by pathologists for diagnostic purposes.
• Assist in cutting surgical, frozen sections, and possibly autopsies as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., biology, chemistry, medical technology).
