Lab Technician Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our laboratory team at Prime Physicians, PLLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex testing procedures and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine testing procedures using automated and manual methods
- Conduct quality control procedures daily and weekly
- Maintain instruments and troubleshoot technical issues
- Evaluate and document patient test results
Additional Responsibilities:
- Carry out cross-matching, antibody screening, and blood product processing
- Independently evaluate and report patient test results
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree or associate's degree in medical technology
- 3 years of recent experience in chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, hematology, coagulation, and microbiology
- License: Medical Technologists (MT, MLS or CLS) - ASCP or AMT
