What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chinle AZ / IHS / Clinical Pharmacist Informaticist position at Prime Physicians?
Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist Informaticist (Clinical Applications Coordinator)
Location: Chinle , AZ 86503
Duration: 1 Year (will allow 13 weeks )
Start Date: May 2025
Shift Schedule: 7:00AM — 6:00PM or 8:30AM — 7:30PM in a Monday to Friday. (The Contractor shall work 8 (10) hour shifts at least per work week onsite and the other week from a secure remote location)
Education: Bachelor Degree of Pharmacist or relevant
License: CAll pharmacist informaticists shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States,
Certifications: Valid and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications and are mandatory
Experience: The Contractor shall have overall thirty-six (36) months of Pharmacists’ experience, with a minimum of six months (6) working as an CAC informaticist in the specialty required by the contract.
Responsibilities
The Contractor shall perform pharmacist informaticist duties and indirectly manage patient’s needs via informational system or computer-based work as described in the position.
Work under the general technical, administrative supervision .
The Contractor shall coordinate and provide support for Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other related software and hardware programs throughout the hospital campus.
The Contractor shall develop, maintain, and troubleshoot MS Access databases used in the pharmacy.
The Contractor shall develop, maintain, and troubleshoot any additional pharmacy reports as needed to optimize pharmaceutical services. This includes but not limited to Antibiotic Stewardship, Billing Point of Sale, medication adherence data
The Contractor shall oversee the updates of Guardrails Alaris system as needed to safely administer infusion medications.
The Contractor shall help troubleshoot any BMCA related issues as needed.
The Contractor shall follow all appropriate federal and locally required information
Technology security requirements and will be operating under HIPPA and Privacy Act regulations.
The Contractor shall coordinate the use of Pharmacy software for the provision of quality clinical care including Electronic Health Record (EHR) as it relates to pharmacy functions and the use of RPMS information. The Contractor shall run additional reports as
needed to optimize pharmaceutical services.
The contractor shall submit a proper invoice as required for payment of services rendered and attached timesheet/work record to verify the hours worked, by uploading to
IPP.gov. Acertification statement of service rendered will be included with a signature from the designated COR for this contract.
The contractor shall be subject to peer review per Joint Commission standards.
There must be no lapse of services of more than 1 year prior to beginning tour of duty. (NOT FOR JOB POSTING)
