Primary Care Physician

The Primary Care Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to patients at Pine Ridge IHS Hospital in South Dakota. This is a government-based position with the Indian Health Service (IHS), offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services to patients in a 35-bed comprehensive hospital setting.
• Collaborate with nurses, mid-level providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Requirements:

• Current U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder.
• Board certification or eligibility in ABEM (American Board of Emergency Medicine).
• Active medical licensure in any state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications.
• MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tetanus (Td), PPD, and Flu vaccinations.

Compensation:

$200,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), long-term disability, and life insurance. Flexible scheduling options available.

Work Schedule:

7 days on, 7 days off or 14 days on, 14 days off schedule. Shifts include 7am-7pm, 8am-8pm, and 7pm-7am. Flexible scheduling options available.
