Qualification :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent Prefered
Experience : Shall have a minimum of twenty-four (24) months relevant experience within the last thirty-six (36) months
Certifications : BLS Mandatory
Job Description : We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Operating Room Assistant to support the surgical team and ensure the smooth operation of the operating room (OR). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, preparing the OR for surgeries, and assisting in patient care and transportation.
Responsibilities :
- Transport patients to and from the operating room.
- Assist with positioning and prepping the patient for surgery (e.g., draping, securing).
- Clean and disinfect operating rooms and surgical equipment after procedures.
- Restock supplies and ensure the operating room is ready for the next procedure.
- Handle non-sterile equipment and manage waste disposal.
- Assist with setting up non-sterile areas or equipment as needed.
