Job Title : Pharmacist - Inpatient
Location : Pittsfield, MA
Start Date : March 3, 2025
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift Schedule : Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Qualifications :
Education : Doctoral degree in Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
Experience : Minimum of 3 years of extensive acute care clinical experience required.
License : Must hold a valid Massachusetts Pharmacist License.
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
Responsibilities :
Proficient in computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture, and parenteral chemotherapy admixture (preferred).
Must demonstrate the ability to work independently without direct supervision while adhering to established policies.
Supervise and oversee the work of support personnel, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Review and verify physician orders, ensuring accurate medication dispensing and appropriate dosing.
Provide drug information and education to healthcare staff, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient care.
Conduct medication therapy management and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions to enhance patient outcomes.
