Job Title : Respiratory Therapist
Location : Shiprock, NM 87420
Duration : 3 to 12 months
Start Date : Mar 2025
Shift Schedule : 8 Hours, 10 Hours or 12 Hours
Qualifications :
Experience : Contractor must have 24 months of experience, including 12 months in blood gas lab management, ventilator experience (neonates to geriatrics), and emergency / trauma care, with exceptions requiring approval.
License : Valid, current and unrestricted license to practice Respiratory Therapy in any state within the United States, District of Columbia or the Common-Wealth of Puerto Rico.
Certification : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Responsibilities :
Administer oxygen using various devices like nasal cannula, masks, and oxyhoods.
Provide basic life support to patients of all age groups.
Set up and manage ventilators for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and geriatric patients.
Handle ventilation for patients with COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and ARDS.
Complete ventilator flowsheets every 2 hours and document patient care.
Assist with intubation of patients across all age groups.
Maintain and manage ventilators and oxygen devices efficiently
