Qualification
- Education: Graduate of a CODA accredited dental assistant program
- Certification: CDA certificate from Dental Assistant National Board, BLS
- Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Assist with chairside dental procedures in general dentistry.
- Record treatments and clinical notes in Dentrix.
- Sterilize, clean, and store dental instruments properly.
- Prepare patients and operatories for procedures.
- Operate dental X-ray equipment for intra and extra-oral imaging.
- Assist with prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, and sealant application.
- Perform basic dental lab tasks, including model trimming and occlusal guard fabrication.
- Take and record patient blood pressure.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
