Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients and visitors, manage patient registration and scheduling.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and handling correspondence.
- Maintain electronic health records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise effectively between patients, medical staff, and external parties.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and ensure maintenance of office equipment.
- Provide general support in billing and insurance form assistance.
- Conducts searches for lost records, and completes other special projects and file room activities as assigned.
- Monitors requests to ensure validity and processing within required time frames.
- Ensures the information released is limited to what is specifically authorized and to the person or agency designated to receive it.
