Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of disease processes to recognize complications and implement therapeutic interventions.
- Perform comprehensive and age-appropriate assessments of pediatric patients, including physical, emotional, and developmental evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans based on the needs of the patient and family.
- Safely administer medications, including calculating dosages based on weight and age, and monitor for adverse effects.
- Regularly check and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
