Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Leasing Manager to oversee the leasing operations of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management, ensuring high occupancy rates while maintaining excellent tenant relations. This role requires a proactive approach to conflict management, upselling, and facilities management, as well as a solid grasp of relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including marketing available properties and conducting tours for prospective tenants.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate files and records related to leasing activities, tenant communications, and property maintenance requests.
- Implement effective strategies for upselling amenities and services to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee property maintenance issues, coordinating with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of tenant concerns.
- Utilize Yardi software for tracking leases, managing tenant information, and generating reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and other applicable laws governing rental properties.
- Foster positive relationships with tenants through effective communication and conflict management strategies.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet company standards for safety and aesthetics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of leasing processes.
- Familiarity with real estate administrative tasks and facilities management principles.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts amicably.
- Knowledge of LIHTC regulations is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Yardi or similar property management software is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing files and records.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation/Benefits
- Compensation will be determined on experience, property and location. Company offers a competive compensation package.
- Salary/Hourly Wage depends on location, property size and experience level. The company offers competitive wages and benefits.
- Lease Up yearly Bonus of $5K if property achieves budgeted occupancy by move in day

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
