Data Architect

Development, creation, and modification of computer applications software or specialized utility programs in Business Analytics. Data model to support common use cases, including data science and machine learning (ML), and the key challenges each presents. Design and implement robust data architectures that align with our company's strategic vision. Responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, developing scalable data models, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of databases. Integrate data solutions into cloud-based environments, optimizing data storage and retrieval processes, and implementing best practices for data management. Design patterns to optimize compute and storage in multi-tenant data applications, including advice on when to pool or isolate resources for tenants. Build data pipelines for data ingestion, including the tradeoffs between ETL and ELT. Create best practices for sharing data securely with customers and partners, including a review of the sharing-by-reference and sharing-by-copy mode. Determine the requirements for a new database, Data Model, Table design. Publish and / or present design reports. Identify areas for improvement in current systems. Audit database regularly to maintain quality. Create systems to keep data secure.Require Bachelor degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (CS / IS / IT) or related field with relevant work experience for at least 2 years. In the alternate, in lieu of the Bachelor's degree, will accept an equivalent combination of education and work experience (with at least 3 yrs of college level education) that is equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (CS / IS / IT) or related field.Must have relevant work experience using VB, .Net, Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI. Must be willing to travel to unanticipated client locations throughout the USA at company paid expenses.
