Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure proper functioning of systems.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Respond promptly to service requests and complete work in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role with a strong skill set in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
