Prime Social Poker Room in Houston, TX is looking for an experienced bartender to join our 80 person strong team. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your bartender and customer service skills. If you enjoy a faced paced environment, you are in the right place. We have regular scheduled events with over 300 members in attendance per day. Potential earnings up to $2,000 /week. We are located on 7801 Westheimer Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Insure that all sales are entered into the POS system.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Knowledge with POS operations, ordering, collecting sales, close outs etc.
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
