As a Poker Room Floor Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional gaming experience to our patrons while ensuring the smooth operation of our poker room.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee daily poker room operations, including managing poker tables, waitlists, must moves, transfers, dealers, and player interactions to ensure adherence to house rules and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to players, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries while fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Staff Management: Coordinate dealer rotations, assign tasks, and provide guidance to maintain an efficient and professional dealer team.
- Game Integrity: Ensure the integrity of poker games by monitoring gameplay, resolving disputes, and preventing any form of cheating or unethical behavior.
- Training: Assist in training new dealers and staff members, ensuring they are knowledgeable about house rules, procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Floor Decisions: Make real-time decisions in accordance with established rules and policies to maintain fairness and consistency in game play.
- Promotions and Tournaments: Collaborate with management to plan and execute poker tournaments, promotions, and special events that enhance the player experience and drive business.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements related to poker room operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of poker room experience, including dealing and supervisory roles.
- Thorough understanding of various poker games (Texas Hold'em, Omaha, etc.) and rules.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Leadership skills with a proactive and collaborative approach to team management.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance standards preferred.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
