Backend Engineer, Direct Hire
Hybrid 3x a week in downtown Seattle
Compensation: $125-190k base generous equity, 401(k), benefits

As a mission-focused and fast-growing startup based in Seattle, with a team that includes alumni from top tech companies. The ideal candidate has experience building scalable backend services with a customer focus, powering delightful user experiences. This role also requires you to architect right-sized solutions that are easy to maintain, secure, and provide a platform for the future. Efficiently collaborating with product management and other engineers, while deliving high-quality code.
About You:
- 3 years of professional development experience, shipping production code
- Able to write professional-quality code in a commonly used backend language (Python, Typescript, Java, etc.)
- Experience building at scale with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Humility, creativity, and team-first attitude, with a love for learning
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Extra Credit Experience:
- Typescript or Python
- NoSQL databases
- Kubernetes
- Google Cloud Platform

Salary : $125,000 - $190,000
