About the Role:
This is a high-impact individual contributor (IC) role where you will be responsible for driving the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals. As one of the first AEs on the team, you will play a key role in shaping sales strategies, developing outreach playbooks, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, from outbound prospecting to contract negotiations and closing.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and engaging new business opportunities within targeted industries.
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies, including cold emailing, drip campaigns, and inbound lead follow-ups.
- Collaborate closely with customer success and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and expansion of accounts.
- Utilize CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) to track pipeline activity, forecast revenue, and optimize sales processes.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, educating clients on product capabilities and identifying opportunities for upselling and expansion.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, leveraging creative problem-solving to navigate ambiguity.
- Contribute to the development of sales playbooks, outreach templates, and best practices.
- Help shape the company’s sales culture, focusing on authenticity, humility, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of sales experience, preferably at early-stage startups or high-growth SaaS companies.
- Proven success in enterprise sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred).
- Experience in land-and-expand motions, working with customer success and engineering teams.
- A self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Passion for working in a mission-driven startup with a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
- Experience selling into Learning & Development (L&D) or Enablement teams is a plus.
- Background as a founding AE at a high-growth startup is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary with total compensation ranging from $160,000 - $220,000 (including base salary and commission).
