Job Title: Robotics Software Engineer
Contract to Hire Position
Pay rate: $50 - $75 per hour
Salary upon conversion: $100,000 - $130,000
Overview: Seeking a self-directed Robotics Software Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate excels in problem-solving and communication, capable of working with all levels of the organization. This role involves developing and enhancing applications using Web and Client technology across various hardware platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support client-server and web-based applications using MVC, C#, ASP.Net, and SQL Server.
- Utilize API Connect, Web Services (REST & SOAP), Microservices, and containers.
- Collaborate with management and users to define, develop, and implement business solutions.
- Provide technical estimates, perform unit testing, and ensure code quality.
- Maintain Test, Cert, and Production environments, comply with Change Control Process, and support audit compliance.
- Support scheduled after-hours maintenance and be available for 24/7 support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Five years of experience with C#, VisualStudio.Net, .Net (Framework/Core), ASP.Net, MVC, SQL Server.
- Two years of experience with HTML5, jQuery, Blazor, Bootstrap, Angular, and/or React.
- Database skills: T-SQL, SSMS, SSRS, Data Engineering practices; SSIS and Entity Framework/EF Core experience is a plus.
- Experience with Windows Forms, Web Forms, WebAPI, WCF & ASMX Services, hosting using IIS Server.
- Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
- Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISA-95 standard, MES and SCADA systems, PLCs, and industrial controls is a plus.
- Azure and/or AWS Cloud experience is a plus.
