Operations Supervisor for Industrial Coatings

## Job Summary
South Florida - Working supervisor to oversee industrial coatings and blasting operations. Must have own truck and be able to transport materials and work- related items to and from the job site as needed. Vehicle allowance provided. Oversee safety procedures and ensure personal protection devices are used correctly. Capable of using and maintaining blast and coating measuring and testing devices in accordance with paint manufacture's specifications, as well as customer requirements.

## Duties
· Supervise blasting and painting operations.

· Able to read and interpret drawings and paint specifications.

· Follow all the specified product data sheets for each coating system to be applied.

· Maintain sprayers and equipment as needed using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties.

· Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.

· Use of proper testing techniques to meet the specified quality standards (NACE).

· Responsible for filling out paperwork as needed for the job requirements.

· Air monitoring for confined space as required.

· Able to use dry film and wet film thickness gauge to determine thickness of coatings that are applied.

## Requirements

• 3-5 years industrial painting/blasting experience.
• 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
• Able to travel up to 50 miles to job site(s).
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
