Position Overview:
Prime Telecom Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilled Business Development Analyst to focus on SLED opportunities. This role will be responsible for leading and managing the company's efforts to secure government contracts and projects. This role involves developing strategies to grow government business, building relationships with key government agencies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Business Development Analyst will work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of government projects

- Source, Identify and Pursue new government contracting opportunities at the federal, state, and local levels using online tools and subscriptions
- Implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives in the government sector
- Monitor and analyze government market trends and activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government agencies and procurement officials
- Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and RFQs/RFPs for government projects
- Ensure all proposals are compliant with government regulations and requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and resources for proposals
- Oversee the negotiation and administration of government contracts
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulatory requirements
- Manage contract modifications, amendments, and renewals
- Ensure adherence to all government regulations and compliance standards
- Identify risks associated with government contracts to present to management
- Stay updated on changes in government contracting laws and regulations
- This position typically works in an office setting, but occasional travel may be necessary
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with public procurements is preferred (reasonable, comparable experience may be substituted for public procurement experience)
- Knowledge of BidNet Direct, Sam.gov and other online platforms
- Knowledge of Telecommunications industry is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to prepare, review and submit RFP's.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to gain working knowledge of SLED procurement policy and contracting techniques
- Strong analytical deduction skills & critical thinking
- Ability to interpret requirements and provide creative solutions
- Ability to adjust quickly and adapt to changing priorities
- Discretion and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Strong computer skills in MS Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to learn new computer applications
- Contract Management certifications are a plus
