We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team for a travel job in Athol, Massachusetts. As an MLT, you will be responsible for performing a wide array of laboratory procedures in all departments, exercising independent judgment and being involved in evaluation of present procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- General rotating MLS/MLT to work in all clinical laboratory areas
- Performing a wide array of laboratory procedures in all departments
- Exercising independent judgment and being involved in evaluation of present procedures
- Working closely with supervisors and coworkers to complete patient testing, quality control, correlation studies and special projects
- Actively participating in specimen collection procedures
- Giving assistance to others and advocating to ensure privacy and confidentiality
- Maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment
- Responding appropriately and immediately in emergency situations
