We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Instructor to teach our Nursing Assistant and Trained Medication Aide courses. We utilize Hartman Publishing course materials, and experience with this curriculum is a plus!
Job Summary:
The Contracted RN Instructor role will be responsible for managing in-person and online classroom instruction, skills lab training, and clinical setting experiences. The ideal candidate will foster an engaging and supportive learning environment while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in both the Nursing Assistant and Trained Medication Aide programs.
- Facilitate hands-on training in the skills lab and supervise students in clinical settings.
- Assess student competencies through skill demonstrations and evaluations of theory retention.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations when managing student records.
- Order and maintain program supplies, implementing safeguarding measures and documenting inventory needs.
- Maintain professional relationships with staff, clinical sites, and community partners to support a safe and effective learning environment.
- Accurately complete and submit all required course records and reports by established deadlines.
- Ensure 100% compliance with program record-keeping and delivery requirements.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders regarding program updates and quality improvements.
- Support program activities such as student orientation, graduation, and professional development events.
- Stay current with industry best practices and maintain an active nursing license in good standing.
- Revise curriculum and instructional methods based on evaluations and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of [Insert State].
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, home health, or acute care settings.
- Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with Hartman Publishing course materials is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in online learning platforms and technology is an advantage.
