Prime Time Palm Beach County is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support our research and evaluation team. The ideal candidate will understand the afterschool field, enjoy working with numbers and data, and be enthusiastic about customer service. This position requires a blend of administrative coordination, data collection expertise, and strong interpersonal communication skills to support research project management and contribute to our mission of improving afterschool program quality and building child outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Team Support: Manage team calendars and emails to ensure coordinated operations.
- Project Management: Track progress on various research projects, including maintaining participant details, tracking communications, and gathering feedback.
- Incentives Management: Oversee procurement and distribution of study incentives.
- Study Recruitment: Manage recruitment efforts for research studies.
- Meeting Support: Provide logistical and administrative support for internal meetings, including Data Governance Committee and weekly research team meetings.
- Data Collection Responsibilities
- Survey Administration: Develop, administer surveys using Survey Monkey and other platforms, and monitor data collection windows.
- Focus Groups: Schedule and conduct focus groups to gather qualitative data.
- Performance Reporting: Produce routine performance reports to inform program quality improvement efforts.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to collect observational data (training provided).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with afterschool programs required. Background in youth development, afterschool programs, early childhood education, K-12 education, or social work preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Suite is required. Any experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus.
- Commitment to customer service and the ability to work with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
- Interest or experience in basic coding or data science (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with OpenAI/ChatGPT or other AI services is a plus (training available).
