Key job responsibilities
In this role, as a Principal TPM you will partner with Product/UX/Architects to deliver a program of work across a large number of teams, end to end. For each program that you will own, you will work with Product and UX counterparts to define the product vision and roadmap in a data-driven and working backward (from customer) approach. Where applicable, you will also work with Principal Engineers to draw technical design/approach documents. And finally, you will work with engineering teams across the globe to own the actual product execution cycle (develop, test, and launch). Along the way, you (as the program leader) will be responsible for defining how the product roadmap is delivered (delivering value in incremental phases, or in one go), bring teams across organizations together, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and when necessary make trade-offs by balancing the business needs versus technical constraints.
In this role you will demonstrate program management skills and be comfortable to operate at scale, and will have experience in leading large cross-functional and cross-organizational programs. You will be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- 8 years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
