We are looking for a data-savvy, strategic, and analytical Senior Product Manager to work on the content licensing technology of our supply chain. In this cross-functional role you will help define and execute the strategy for the produces and services that enable content providers to distribute their . You will collaborate with engineering, operations, other product managers, and executive teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our platform capabilities.

The duties will include formulating a business vision for your product domain, gathering business and functional requirements from internal customers and end-users, and translating those requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, and supportable solutions that work well with a range of complex systems. The PMT serves as the technical as well as the business lead throughout the entire development lifecycle including scoping, planning, conceptualizing, designing, testing, documenting, and shipping the product to the end customer keeping in mind issues around tech debt, scalability, performance and latency, and compatibility with technology and business goals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and execute toward the long-term strategy for the digital supply chain
  • Working closely with Business Intelligence to analyze business trends and make data-backed decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including other product managers, engineering, partner management, and executives to influence and drive the long-term strategy
  • Create business requirements, develop solutions, and socialize them across functions and teams
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle

This position may be located in Seattle or Los Angeles.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2 years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
