The Role:
We’re looking for an Automation Programmer who’s not only skilled with code but also curious about what’s happening under the hood—the circuits, motors, sensors, and systems that make machines tick. You'll be working on the development, implementation, and support of automation solutions for a wide range of projects, from high-horse power equipment to custom electromechanical builds.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, test, and deploy automation scripts and software (PLC, HMI, microcontrollers, etc.)
- Interface with hardware—motors, sensors, relays, and embedded systems
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to design control strategies
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues in live systems
- Help shape the future of our automation platforms and workflows
What You Bring:
- Proficiency in automation programming (e.g., PLCs—Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)
- Understanding of electronics (circuit design, sensors, controllers)
- Familiarity with machine systems (pneumatics, motion control, hydraulics, etc.)
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to get hands-on with hardware
- A desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment
- Experience with SCADA or HMI systems
Bonus Points For:
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP)
- Experience building or working on personal electronics/machine projects
