We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and supporting overall warehouse operations. Duties
- Procure and manage inventory levels to meet operational demands.
- Utilize forklift equipment safely for moving and organizing stock.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Implement materials management strategies to optimize storage space.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies through root cause analysis.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move products within the warehouse.
- Support management initiatives by providing accurate inventory data.
Experience
- Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order fulfillment processes is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely is essential.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis on inventory issues.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
