Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing account transactions
- Cashing checks
- Issuing money orders and cashier's checks
- Maintaining account records
- Encoding items for processing
- Daily balancing and safeguarding of cash drawer
- Opening new accounts
- Cross-selling other bank products
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Prior experience is preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills including attentiveness and information retention
- Strong ability to work with others in a manner exhibiting tact and diplomacy
- Emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of computers and general office equipment
This position requires a selected candidate must pass a criminal history background check and have favorable credit history for bonding purposes.
