Prime Care Colorado in Aurora, CO is looking for two Lead Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers to join our team.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
•Operate Company Mini-Vans using defensive driving following state and company guidelines
•Provide excellent customer service to patients as well as facilities
•Ability to safely load and unload patients into the van by wheelchair, stretcher, and Broda chair.
•Utilize Company Software Daily
•Lead and motivate a team of drivers providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
•Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations related to non-emergency medical transportation and ensure full compliance with all legal requirements.
•Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
•Wear Company Provided Personal Protective while working to keep both yourself and the patient safe
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment and vehicle by cleaning and sanitizing equipment
•Spending most of the day sitting and driving patients safely
•Loading and using safety devices in Company Vehicle to secure patients in their wheelchairs
•Navigating Roads and Medical Facilities to pick up and drop off patients in all weather conditions
Qualifications
•Current and Valid Colorado Driver’s License
•Clean Motor Vehicle Record
•Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check
•23 Years of Age or Two Years of Documented Professional Driving Experience
•Ability to drive in all-weather conditions
•Understanding of compassion and accountability
•Commitment to attendance requirements without tardiness
•Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
•Ability to use defensive driving techniques
•Compassionately work with patients
•Use Company provided software tools through devices
•No lifting is required
