Position Summary :

Under the supervision of the Director of ABA , the BCBA will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges through evidence-based interventions grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The position requires a combination of in-home and in-clinic work, ensuring comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.

Work Environment :

This role involves travel and includes working in both client homes and the PrimeCare ABA Therapy Center in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Case Management : Provide day-to-day management of cases for children on the autism spectrum.
• Behavior Assessments : Conduct comprehensive and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify causes of challenging behaviors and environmental variables.
• Behavior Intervention Plans : Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to clients needs, with evidence-based strategies and interventions.
• Clinical Oversight : Ensure compliance and retention for optimal outcomes through clinical oversight.
• Policies and SOPs : Assist in drafting and refining policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department.
• Discharge Planning : Handle discharge and transition planning for assigned caseloads.
• Marketing & Recruitment : Assist with marketing initiatives and recruitment for children with behavioral needs or autism.
• Staff Supervision : Hire, orient, and provide ongoing supervision for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
• Training & Education : Train and educate families, caregivers, and stakeholders on effective behavior management strategies.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Collaborate with psychologists, educators, and therapists to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Professional Development : Engage in professional development opportunities and stay updated on ABA best practices and advancements.
• Parent Engagement : Promote active parent involvement in therapy to improve client outcomes.
• Research & Growth : Engage in research and support the growth of PrimeCare ABA Therapy , assisting in business and service expansion.
• Team Participation : Attend weekly Level 10 (L10) meetings, conferences, and webinars as needed.
