We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at PrimeCare Medical, Inc. in York, PA.

The ideal candidate will be able to multitask well, have excellent time management skills, and be comfortable working independently to make patient diagnoses.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform physical examinations on newly incarcerated inmates / patients
- Evaluate sick inmates / patients and present observations to attending physician
- Administer injections and medications, draw blood samples, and evaluate diagnostic findings
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely medical entries are made for each inmate / patient contact
- Provide counseling and education on common medical problems
- Develop and conduct in-service education programs according to annual calendar
- Review inmate / patient records and initiate necessary treatment
- Order laboratory tests and X-rays as needed
- Prescribe therapeutic modalities such as medications and diets
