About Us
PrimeCare Transport is a rapidly expanding non-emergency medical transportation company based in Memphis, TN. We are the largest private-pay transportation provider in the area and provide quality, compassionate care to those needing rides.
Shifts Available:
Monday through Friday, 8-10 hours per day between 6am to 6pm (Hours change as daily workload changes), 35-40 hours per week with overtime possible. Drivers do not work a fixed shift, and may work mornings some days and afternoons other days. Weekend work is also periodically available.
Job Description
Our Drivers take patients to doctor's offices, hospitals and other appointments. You will have a schedule of trips to take as well as taking on-call returns and discharges as needed.
Job Requirements
-Must be 21 years of age or older
-Available as needed between 6am - 6pm Monday through Friday. Our schedule is always changing and different every day, so open availability during these hours is a MUST.
-F (For Hire) or higher endorsement on VALID driver license
-Clean Motor Vehicle Record over past three years
-Able to pass a drug screening upon hire and random drug screenings throughout employment
-Able to pass a criminal background check
-Able to push or pull wheelchairs and stretchers up and down a wheelchair ramp with patients weighing up to 250 lbs. We also sometimes carry heavier patients.
-Able to assist moving patients from beds to wheelchairs and stretchers as needed
-Able to work independently throughout the day, keeping in constant communication with the dispatch team.
