Key Responsibilities
Clinical Research Assistance:
- Manage research data entry, query resolution, and data management tasks
- Facilitate research chart processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Enter study-related data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Track, manage, and order study-related supplies
- Maintain compliance with site and regulatory requirements
- Oversee office tasks, including vendor management, invoicing, and office maintenance
- Perform medical procedures and measurements as required
- Review study protocols and eligibility requirements to identify potential participants
- Serve as the primary point of contact between patients, physicians, and research staff
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies, including outreach campaigns (letters, emails, ads, calls, etc.)
- Create and distribute recruitment materials (letters, pamphlets, digital campaigns)
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to optimize patient recruitment efforts
- Communicate with Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) and pharmaceutical sponsors as needed
- Present study information to internal teams and external audiences
- High school diploma required; additional education in healthcare or research is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or clinical research setting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to explain it in layperson's terms
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Self-starter with problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset
