BECOME A TURNAROUND COORDINATOR AT PRIMEFLIGHT!

Our Turnaround Coordinators play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient turnaround of aircraft and smooth ramp operations. You will oversee all ground handling activities, ensuring that everything runs on time and meets safety and regulatory standards. You’ll coordinate with teams, manage load planning, flight movements, and communicate with flight crews, making sure all tasks are completed to the highest standards. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will be key in maintaining a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. A proactive, safety-conscious mindset is essential for us all to succeed.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS A TURNAROUND COORDINATOR

• Oversee daily station operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and aviation regulations
• Oversee the coordination of flight turnarounds, including briefing and debriefing the ramp team
• Coordinate the load planning and weight and balance of aircraft to ensure proper cargo distribution and safe flight operations
• Maintain clear and efficient communication between below-wing and above-wing agents via radio
• Coordinate communication with aircraft and gate assignments for all daily flights
• Collect and organize the necessary loading documents from the Load Control Department and ensure all pre-flight documents are filed appropriately
• Deliver collected pre-flight documents to flight crews and provide a comprehensive briefing on payload, ensuring proper weight distribution and load positions
• Validate load positions with Load Control in CDG or AMS based on the load report, ensuring all load configurations meet operational requirements
• Monitor flight movements and ramp activities, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all turnaround operations
• Monitor and assess the level of service provided by ground service providers and report any discrepancies or issues to management
• Abide by all airport and SIDA rules and regulations, challenging suspicious individuals or those not wearing an unescorted SIDA Identification badge
• Report any suspicious articles or persons immediately
• Carry out other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth ground operations and timely turnaround of aircraft
• Exceed PrimeFlight’s customer service and safety standards by ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality ground handling tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in airport operations
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
