You'll focus on the technical aspects of electrical design while providing support for the lead or project electrical engineer/architects on projects. You possess strong CAD skills and have the ability to communicate and interact with others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- You'll prepare electrical power system and lighting calculations under supervision.
- You'll perform layout of wiring devices, lighting fixtures, and low voltage system devices including circuiting under supervision.
- You'll perform layout of electrical distribution equipment under supervision.
- You'll prepare electrical schedules, riser diagrams, and details under supervision.
- You'll assist with field surveys of electrical equipment and systems.
- You'll be responsible for Project CAD Coordination.
- You'll assist with project documentation, including calculations, project filing, etc.
- You'll interfaces with vendors under supervision.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- You have knowledge of Electrical Standards for lighting, power, and fire alarm systems.
- You have knowledge of key design aspects of electrical lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- You have knowledge of electrical circuiting for power and lighting.
- You have knowledge of key architectural considerations for electrical equipment such as electrical room sizing, clearances, and reflected ceiling plans.
- You have knowledge of electrical characteristics of mechanical, plumbing and other equipment.
- You have proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- You have knowledge of Electrical calculation software tools.
- You're a team player with excellent communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- You have at least 2 years of experience. High School Diploma required.
