Our Utilities division is a talented team of experts working together to provide solutions that are vital to energizing our future. We provide full-service electrical, civil, and structural engineering services to support electric and gas utilities nationwide. We’re also fortunate to support wind farms and renewables; transmissions systems; and university and industrial facilities.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience
• You have a High School Diploma, and at least 2 year technical degree (one year minimum of related experience providing equivalent knowledge may be substituted)
• You have working knowledge of MicroStation and GIS related applications, and knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
• You are proficient in the use of MS Office suite
• You can maintain a working knowledge of internal and Client CAD standards
• You can develop a working knowledge of Primera’s Quality Management System, departmental processes, and infrastructure 
• You have a valid Driver’s License
• You are a people person with the ability to interface and collaborate effectively with other team members. Your strong organization and communication skills will contribute to your success.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• You will perform design of natural gas distribution systems using Microstation and AutoCAD software
• You will assist in the preparation of field notes from site visits, drawings, permit applications, and other project deliverables, as required
• You will apply Client standards, guidelines, specifications, best-practices, procedures, and appropriate industry standards in preparing the design of natural gas distribution systems
• You will coordinate project assignments with engineers and technicians within the group
• You will manage and report on multiple assigned projects, and effectively manage and coordinate assigned work tasks

Starting salary is between $65,000 – $85,000 based on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants based on relevant years of experience.
