Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

Primera Plastics is a plastic injection mold facility seeking a motivated individual to work as a maintenance technician. In this role you are responsible for equipment maintenance and repair. Additionally, this individual will provide support for other shift operations including facility support and project activities. This role may require on call support to other shifts.

Job Description

• Responsible for trouble shooting and maintenance of all machinery including preventative maintenance of all equipment.
• Evaluate work orders and determine if repairs can be accomplished in house or need to be outsourced.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for all repairs that need to be completed on the outside.
• Familiarity with entering data into computer systems (ie: Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Ability to read schematics; electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic.

Minimum requirements for position: 3-5 years on the job experience in maintenance preferred. Maintenance of plastic injection molding equipment preferred. Certified through formal technical or credited school. Journeyman’s license preferred. PLC/Controls experience preferred. Good driving record, good communication skills and organized worker.
