POSITION SUMMARY:
The flooring lead position would support the Flooring Order Entry and Scheduling team including holding weekly production meetings, researching and ordering shortages, working closely with estimating team and the field manager. This individual would also assist the internal operations manager with reports, job runner set up and training for new employees. There may also be some day-to-day responsibilities with order entry and scheduling.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee Flooring Production Team and hold weekly team meetings.
2. Attend Kick off meetings when awarded new communities.
3. Process NOS requests submitted by FSRs and Field Manager.
4. Order Custom “one-offs” and Area Rugs for models, etc.
5. Assist Warehouse Manager with Padding substitution and carpet delivery delays.
6. Order tracking for flooring all divisions on a weekly basis.
7. Creating job templates in job runner for flooring/wall tile for all divisions.
8. Training for new hires in Flooring Order Entry or Scheduling.
9. Research no charge items and back charges.
10. Review WIP buckets as assigned.
11. Manage Builder Portals when necessary (ie Hyphen)
12. Work with Internal Operations Manager on Weekly Revenue Forecast.
13. Other duties as assigned by the manager or senior leadership.
