About This Position
Primerica is seeking a Reporting & Data Analyst for Compliance Data Team. The candidate will develop management reports using Access, SQL, and Excel; function as a liaison between the business unit and I.T. staff; and manage projects through the Systems Development Life Cycle. As a Reporting & Data Analyst, the candidate will ensure that all enhancements are well designed, documented, and tested. This includes fact gathering, development of business specifications, test plan development, tracking and resolving issues, and training.
This is a hybrid position, that requires working 2/3 days on-site at our Duluth, GA office each week.
Candidates must live in Metro Atlanta to be considered.
Salary Range: $60k - $85k

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating both Life & Securities Surveillance reports regarding agent related activity, life policies, mutual funds, annuities, and managed account transactions.
- Identifies need for new or update reports based on changes in regulatory and business concerns.
- Validates the integrity of the reports and the data contained within.
- Inform senior management regarding issues identified during development of the report.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of the products offered by Primerica, company policies, regulatory changes and areas of regulatory sensitivity.
- Prepares and presents various briefings and reports as required by senior management.
- Protect the company's authority to do business by complying with legal and ethical standards, policies and procedures.
- Communicate with both external and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal departments on compliance related projects, surveillance reports, programming issues during the course of business.
- Troubleshoot issues related to reports and provides support to the team member as needed.
- Conduct brain storming sessions with key user groups emphasizing the scope of the project. Also need to identify and define project and system requirements.
- Document the business requirements in a Business Requirement Document (BRD). Create mock-ups for the user interfaces and the final report layouts for new reports as well as redesigns of existing reports.
- Validate business rules and all artifacts with users, approval and sign off.
- Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to make sure that all the user requirements are catered by the application.
- Documentation of procedures, report criteria, testing, validation etc.
- Main point of contact for fund families and vendors for receiving data files. The candidate will coordinate with existing vendors, and act as main point of contact for new venders whenever a new product line launches or a new vender comes on board. The candidate will also be responsible for performing data validation for these vendors.
- Maintain new and enhancement project list
- Utilize company tools and programs, i.e. POL, Mainframe access, HOHP, and vendor related websites as needed to gather and verify data.
- Business Analyst or Data Analyst with 5-7 years’ experience
- Advanced SQL, database design, Access, and Excel skills. Experience in creating tables, queries, forms and reports using MS Access. Familiarity with VBA is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field or equivalent business experience.
- 3 years securities investment related experience
- 3-5 years’ experience as a project management or equivalent business and technical experience.
- Ability to work with programmers, coordinators, technical support staff, internal and external department management, and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks, project, and systems simultaneously.
- Series 6 and Series 26 or equivalent licenses is a plus.
- Knowledge of Mutual Fund, Variable Annuity and Managed products sold by PFS Investments
- Knowledge of Primerica sales force a plus
- Proficient in MS Office
- PowerBI experience is desired.
