What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Office Assistant/Receptionist (Niceville, FL) position at Primetime Physical Therapy, Inc.?
Upbeat outpatient physical therapy clinic with location Niceville in need of an Office Assistant.
DAILY TASKS:
-Check voice messages and return calls
-Check email and respond/sort accordingly
-Electronic Faxes
-Schedule Patients over the phone & in-person using Electronic Health Record System (EHR)
-Manipulate schedule as needed to maximize productivity for all therapists (this will be a collaborative effort w/ the clinic manager as well as other front office staff at Niceville and FWB offices as needed)
-Input and update patient information into EHR w/ accuracy
-Collect Co-payments/Payments (credit card/check/money order only)
-Communicate via email/phone with Billing Team
-Maintain sign-in sheet folder
-Upload Intake forms for new patients
-Maintain copies of clinic forms as needed
-Organization of front office
-Keep waiting room, front office, bathroom areas tidy as needed
-Top off hydrocollator as needed
-Invoicing for medical records as needed
-Wash/Dry/Fold/Put-Away Linens
-Collect Trash from waste baskets end of day
-Prepare Therapist's rooms for next day
-upload time off requests
-notify management of needed repairs
WEEKLY TASKS:
Check Mailbox/Send mail
MONTHLY TASKS:
Order supplies/equipment by 15th of every month
MAY NEED TO OCCASIONALLY TRAVEL TO PROVIDE FRONT DESK COVERAGE FOR NICEVILLE, FWB & DESTIN LOCATION
MON-THURS HOURS 7:30 TO 5 PM (30 MIN LUNCH SAME TIME AS THERAPISTS), FRIDAYS 7:30-11:30
***Prior Medical Front Office/Rehab Technician/Hospital registration/reception experience preferable***
