Assist Controller with internal and external audit and exam activities. Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to all internal members (co-workers) at all times.
Responsibilities :
- Manage, process, verify invoices, ensure timely vendor payment, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor, review, and reconcile assigned accounts regularly by researching data, performing analysis, and conducting numerical calculations.
- Assist with creating standard operating procedures for accounting policies and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures using Blackline software.
- Balance mortgage loans and documents in core system.
- Process and post-month-end closing transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide audit and exam support as assigned.
- Assist in ensuring employer identification numbers or social security numbers have been collected from all vendors so that the payables clerk can prepare and submit 1099s.
- Analyze expense/income variance reports at month-end to determine the cause of the movement.
- Maintain organized files for accurate record keeping and audit support.
- Help guide junior accountants and other staff by answering questions and coordinating informational classes.
- Comply with BSA regulations when performing all job requirements and stay abreast of updates/requirements of BSA/OFAC/CIP through completion of training courses assigned annually by supervisor and attendance at quarterly all-employee meetings discussing BSA compliance activities.

- Corelation Keystone system experience preferred.
- Proven experience with ProfitStar is highly preferred.
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills
- Concur experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent in education and related experience.
