What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Credit Portfolio Administrator position at Primis Bank Opportunities?
Position Summary: Responsible for providing a high level of administrative and operations support, including portfolio management, monitoring, and tracking, to an assigned team of Commercial Bankers.
Essential Functions
- Manage and prepare spreadsheets, reports, and summaries monthly on lender loan and deposit portfolios.
- Track and report monthly performance for Commercial Banking and each assigned Commercial Banker.
- Actively solicit and follow through on customer operational needs, requests and resolution of problems.
- Request action and follow up with Commercial Loan Officers regarding exceptions, maturities, past due loans, business pipeline, loan reviews, etc.
- Prepare packages for loan closings (i.e. prepare applications, complete various forms including CRA, EDD, and CIP forms, questionnaires, prepare tickets, correspond with attorneys, review loan documents for accuracy, resolve credit bureau alerts, etc.).
- Receive closed loan package from Commercial Bankers and send for booking. Ensure that loan packages are complete, accurate and are in accordance with Bank policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Ensure that tickets have been processed.
Marginal Functions
- Pull reports for distribution to Commercial Bankers as needed.
- Assist various lenders with Director to document research.
- Maintain and update the Commercial Department and Credit Administration folder on Primis Portal.
- Assist various lenders with document upload and data entry into Sageworks.
- Supply ordering for multiple locations and Commercial Bankers.
- Perform general administrative duties for the Commercial Bankers, as assigned.
- Review and obtain proper approval for invoices and expense reports.
- Assist Commercial Bankers with processing loan renewals in Sageworks as needed.
- Assist in closing loans with customers when needed.
- Request updated financial information from customers and assigned Commercial Bankers.
- Upload customer financials and other documents to Sageworks as needed.
- Manage customer inquiries and provide quality resolutions.
- Provide assistance to customers in completing loan applications and financial statements.
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma
- Experience in the banking industry preferably in loan operations, credit administration or commercial banking
Minimum Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and products
- High level of initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Effective and professional verbal and written communications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient on department software and MS Office products
Physical Demands
