Position Summary: This position is responsible for preparing loans for funding for the Mortgage Warehouse department.
Essential Functions
- Review client submitted loans.
- Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Identifying and resolving issues, discrepancies, and validations.
- Ensure loans meet requirements and guidelines.
- Approval and disbursement of funds.
- Daily client correspondence and customer service.
- Internal quality control and auditing of warehouse lending loans.
- Ensure loans meet funding requirements and guidelines, data integrity, risk assessment, file inventory, etc.
- Review and verify wire instructions and all essential information on new and previously approved title companies.
- Input new and/or update warehouse database and retain all documentation.
- Create and assist customers with system logins and passwords.
- Assist customers on how to use the warehouse lending systems.
- Participate in department projects as assigned.
- Day to day customer service.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- In person attendance required.
Marginal Functions
- Participate in department projects as assigned.

- Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.

Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred)
- 3 years’ experience in mortgage banking or mortgage warehouse lending operations (preferred)
Minimum Skill Requirements
- Knowledge of mortgage banking or mortgage warehouse lending operations
- In-depth knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, documentation and current regulatory requirements affecting mortgage loans
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and problem solve
- Strong analytical ability
- Professional and effective verbal and written communications
- In-depth knowledge of closing procedures, loan processes, documentation and current regulatory requirements affecting mortgage loans
- High degree of detail orientation
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient with MS Office
Physical Demands
