What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Primis Mortgage Company?
Primary Duties
- Comply with industry-related regulations, requirements and state/federal laws as applicable to the job duties of this position.
- Establish and maintain key relationships and business contacts within the community to create opportunities for growth
- Set sales goals for organization and oversee development of new mortgage business, the expansion of existing business relationships, and the servicing of customers.
- Stay abreast of new mortgage products and trends in the regional real estate market.
- Build new products and trends into the mortgage sales program.
- Develop proactive sales and marketing strategies for different client segments.
- Continuously track and analyze sales performance.
- Streamline sales processes to meet client needs.
- Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
Minimum Educational & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, business or related field.
- Appropriate state licenses, if required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
Minimum Skill Requirements
- Professional and effective verbal and written communications
- High degree of detail orientation
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient with MS Office
Physical Demands
