Wholesale Showroom Clerk

Principle Accountabilities: 

• Represent PBK professionally, responsibly, and passionately to all stakeholders
• Maintain honesty and integrity at all times with co-workers and customers
• Greet customers upon their arrival and showcase the showroom to all new customers
• Process transactions through point of sale system quickly and accurately
• Engage with customers about their business and promote alternative ideas and products to focus on always increasing average dollar of order
• Upsell items frequently with special pricing such as overstock, special sales and best sellers
• Package customers’ purchases responsibly to ensure they are not broken during transit
• Assist with picking, packing and invoicing wholesale orders
• Work closely with customer service to resolve customer challenges
• Assist with inventory replenishment from receiving to putting out on the floor
• Keeping the showroom clean and items in their respective places
• Inspecting new merchandise for defects
• Ability to work with flexible hours including Wednesday evenings until 7 and 1st Saturday of every month and also the 3^rd Thursdays until 7PM
• Ability to work special events held in the showroom which would include weekends ( 4-8 events a year)
• Attend meetings & training 
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager or his/her designee

• Stakeholder satisfaction including customers, teammates, owner, and suppliers.
• Customer retention and growth.  
• Sales magnification and incremented average revenue per market, customer, and orders.
• Reduced customer complaints and prompt resolution.
• Quick customer response and reduced abandoned calls.

 Computer Proficiency:

Education:

Minimum

• High School Diploma.  Experience with high traffic volume sales or service is required.
• 2 years of experience in sales experience in a retail or wholesale environment is a plus

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment where temperatures fluctuate with seasonality.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

• Continuously use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to sit or stand continuously for up to 10 to 12 hours per day
• Must be able to rarely lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting technique
• Must be able to continuously traverse through the showroom floor up to 10 to 12 hours per day
