This role will assist the other Recreation Supervisor with planning and supervising day to day
operations at the Ropes Course, recreation area, and Junior Mountaineers Club. This position
will be responsible for overseeing the staff at the Ropes course and recreation area, as well as
making the weekly schedules and allocation of tips.

Qualifications
This position will need great communication skills and a team first attitude. The candidate must be able to switch gears quickly and jump in where needed. This position will work with a lot of departments and
managers so the ability to think on their feet and move efficiently is imperative.
A day in the life could include opening the ropes course in the morning, helping order supplies in
the afternoon or supervising kids camp all day. This position will be asked to learn all of the
open and closing procedures at Stables Saloon Activity area. This position will be asked to
answer phones and work face to face with guests. The workdays will vary depending on the
season and the deadlines required. Strong organizational skills are mandatory.

This position is responsible for encouraging and registering guests for activities, and maintaining
equipment and rentals such as bikes, disc golf, yard games and ropes course equipment.
This position is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating recreation
staff.
Supervise facility operations and ensure safety of all guests and report to the Director of
Recreation for anything.
This position will be responsible for attaining and maintaining CPR/First Aid certification, as well
as a rope course Level 1 (possibly Level 2) certification.
Minimum age of 18 years.

- Successful completion of High Ropes Course training annually.
- Certification or ability to obtain certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public.
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Ability to learn the operation of the facility and to obtain a working knowledge of Auberge
- Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting up to 50
- Availability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours,
- Possession or ability to obtain a valid driver’s license, must maintain a safe driving
- Required to wear standard uniform.
- Experience with outdoor activities such as Ropes Course, RTV’s, hunting, shooting,
