Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for the efficient operation of designated production equipment as assigned.
- Properly document required pre/post trip inspection of vehicles, identify vehicle defects and notify management of any quality and safety issues. Maintain cleanliness of equipment.
- Direct Delivery/Customer pick up inbound traffic/assign to doors.
- Compile tractor/trailer list of empty bottles, products loaded, and not in use.
- Ensure Warehouse Team Members have trailers to unload and/or load.
- Reposition tractor/trailers in the yard to and from docks.
- Support Production Team.
- Transport trailers from suppliers.
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently in accordance to DOT regulations and Company Safety Policy.
- Provide yard, shipping, and facility clean up (5S).
- Yard truck and commercial driving experience.
- Experience working in a production environment, preferably in food and beverage industry.
- Valid CDL Class A license is required with current DOT Medical certification.
- Must be able to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration driver qualifications.
- Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be 21 years of age and older.
- Forklift experience.
