Primo Deals in Albany, NY is looking for sales associates to join our team. Management and Shift Leader opportunities available. We are a fast growing retailer with discount goods and an Amazon Bin Store!

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customer’s needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
  • Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Go the extra mile” to drive sales
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  • Cross-sell products
  • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures

    • Qualifications

  • A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required
  • Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and change
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems

    Available shifts and compensation : Available shifts all days except Mondays. Compensation is $16.00 - $20.00 / hour.
