Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Process transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, ensuring proper cash handling practices.
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service during busy periods, especially in nightclub settings.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer consumption levels and adhere to responsible service practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Uphold health and safety regulations while maintaining a hospitable environment for guests.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Experience with cash handling and proficiency in using cash registers or POS systems.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Knowledge of mixology, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing tabs.
