Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting our menu offerings.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Accurately handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area according to health and safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the restaurant.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in cash handling, basic math skills, and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service and helping others.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.75 - $17.75 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
